Gianfranco Scotti earned degrees in garment construction and pattern making from his native Italy before moving to Paris in 1996 to work under Oscar de la Renta at Balmain. In 2001, he launched his own menswear line while continuing to design for likes of Dior and Carven. His refined technique and tailoring experience are apparent in the stylized silhouettes of his designs.
