The Sunday Guide - June

INSPIRATION STATEMENT

It feels good to be loved, Baby!

Today is the last day of our Tenth Avenue Collective - We were unsure what to expect, but we were hopeful that Seattle would be ready for a good dose of Baby & Company style and flare. We wanted to put a Collective together with some of our favorite local businesses and present something stylish, entertaining, smart, and engaging. Judging from the reaction, I think we NAILED IT!!!

The Tenth Avenue Collective Pop-up added excitement and energy to one of our favorite neighborhoods. We were so happy to be part of Seattle's rebound after a long damn year of the global pandemic. It sure feels like we are on the other side of it, but... we will remain humble and mindful of the pandemics' unpredictability and force if unchecked.

Our neighbors to our sides, Le Labo, Oddfellows Cafe, Elliot Baby Book Company, and Lost Lake were terrific allies in creating a sense of community and hospitality that made visitors feel safe and welcome in one of Seattle's most iconic neighborhoods. The street scene was vibrant, eclectic, engaged, and alive. We saw customers and friends, old and new. At times, the Pop-Up felt like a social hall of friends bumping into each other or new people meeting each other for the first time. Art, music, fashion, and community were the perfect blend to make our debut collective a huge success. Needless to say, we can't wait for the next one this autumn!!

Keep your eye on us, Baby. You never know where we will Pop-Up next!

A special Thank You to our Collective partners -

Susan Wheeler - you always make our spaces feel like HOME.

Nisha Klein - Fleurish - Your fresh flowers always brightened our day!

Connon Price - Tune HiFi - The stereo system always put digital on the back burner and sounded amazing.

Matt Vaughan - Easy Street Records - The vinyl selection delivered much pleasure and memories from our favorite albums over many decades.

Robin Layton - Photographer - We loved being surrounded by your curated lens of life that lives all around us.

We sure had a good time with you Seattle!

Come visit us in our little Sun Valley Outpost - She is small but mighty and the scenery is worth the drive!

Until next time….

XO

Jill, Wayne, and TROUT!
