Before launching 6397, Stella Ishii co-founded The NEWS – an NYC showroom responsible for discovering and driving brands like Alexander Wang, Sacai, The Row, 3.1 Phillip Lim, and Common Projects. Ishii's acumen for cool and covetable designs helped launch 6397 in 2013. The brand is essentially an extension of The NEWS, and showcases the power and importance of youth and counterculture within a timeless and tomboy approach to design.
