The driving concept is to collect the finest nuances of modernism and combine them with traditional workmanship. The result is what she calls "a look from the past transposed into the future." After passing the creative torch to designer Christina Exsteen, Birger maintains a position as Danish ambassador for Unicef. Each season the label selects special pieces from which the proceeds go to children in need.
