Henry Beguelin, the man behind Henry Cuir, began working with recycled materials and making leather goods on the Island of Elba in the 1980's. Henry moved to Milan and founded the Henry Cuir design house in 1997, specializing in Italian-made leather bags, shoes and accessories.
Henry's earlier items from his days on Elba are now treasured worldwide and have found permanent homes in museums and galleries, while his current designs feature distinctive details like overstated stitching, embroidery, and braided leather.
