Khadi is the namesake of Mahatma Ghandi's movement to liberate India from financial dependency using the localized cotton industry. Fittingly, all Khadi & Co. textiles are woven in India, supporting the ongoing liberation. Before venturing into two woven accessory companies of her own, Epice and Khadi & Co., Danish designer and founder Bess Neilson worked for color-play expert Kenzo in Paris.
