Born in Sweden, Lars Andersson knitted his first sweater for his Monchichi monkey doll at the age of six. Knitting has been engrained into the artist’s life ever since, inspiring his eponymous knitwear line which is designed and manufactured in his Brooklyn studio. He and his team produce each garment using only the purest Italian and Japanese fibers. The brand’s intention is to provide ever-lasting contemporary knitwear that satisfies the senses. An overall subdued palette with an occasional burst of fuchsia or eggplant drapes the body in lush textures and indulgent softness.
