Greta Bellamacina, poet, filmmaker, model, has been constructing a quiet riot in the name of contemporary poetic efforts. Publishing strong-house Faber & Faber enlisted her to edit A Collection of Contemporary British Love Poetry in an effort to revive the language of old voices through the lens of new sentiments. Bellamacina made a studio visit to accomplished visual text artist and poet, Robert Montgomery, when researching her project. In a dream that seems to only exist in a storied ether, they fell in love and have now extended their vision into New River Press with the claim of New Language for Sad Times. Their first pressing is a set of collaborative poems entitled Points For Time In The Sky.
"As a child, I spent a lot of time thinking about the ground, the sky, the sound of a voice or the way we make eye contact. I always felt an unsettling pressure to capture the meanings of those things," -Greta Bellamacina.
There is only our unprescripted love, not
Even a word yet
But for you it’s Modernism. -Bellamacina/Montgomery
