To epitomize the philosophy of the directional capsule collection, we introduce Co, a women’s wear line based in Los Angeles, new to Baby & Company for the first time this spring. The design duo of Co has a history in film and fashion, two disciplines that blend together sumptuously to create a strong visual story. We at Baby & Company love a good presentation when paired with impeccable designs and so it’s a given that we got lost in the visual world of Co as presented in their look books and brand imagery. Come take a look at a brand redefining our concept of classics. Simply put, Co represents the beautiful versatility of femininity with a strong point of view.
The silhouette of Co’s pieces have a dramatic minimalism demonstrated throughout in graceful lines. This season’s collection was inspired by Aurélie Dupont, the former principle dancer from the Paris Ballet Opera and structured fabrics enter the collection in pieces like the Cotton Summer Dress, the stacked and layered hem standing away from the body with the strong discipline of a dancer. Another piece the Bubble Peasant Top flow gracefully along the body pooling in loose gathers around the waist and wrists, arriving in the darkest black and the most delicate pink. Each design in Co's spring offering values the integrity of shape, construction, and material all the while returning the central focus to the garment itself. With this new type of essential, Co is redefining our concept of classic.
